Christ is the Reason for St. Stephen School. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in our classes.  He is the model of our faculty and the inspiration of our students. In this spirit-filled, safe and supportive environment, the dedicated faculty of St. Stephen School works closely with families to provide students with a solid academic foundation for their future studies and a solid spiritual foundation, based on the values of the Catholic faith, to last a lifetime.  We want our students to catch this Spirit.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL:

In the interest of safety for all...

Students are to be dropped off near, not in, the teachers’ parking lot on Hale Street and along Grafton Street where there is a crossing guard. Students should not be dropped off on Caroline Street and no cars should be parked on Caroline Street.  Parents should never block or park in the driveways of homes that surround our school or in crosswalks.

Because Caroline Street is blocked off to traffic at 11:00 AM, NO ONE may park on Caroline Street for the 2:00 PM Pre-K dismissal or the 2:10 K-8 dismissal time.  Cars are to be parked in an orderly way according to the Diagram for Dismissal on this site and on Page 10 of the Handbook.  Vehicles are NOT to EXIT through the HALE Street gate.  Please review, and share with others who pick up your children so that we can ensure an orderly and safe dismissal.

We understand that arrival and pick up times are busy times for parents.  The purpose of these policies is our concern for the safety of the children at our school.

If you need to exit quickly at the end of any given day, please park on Grafton or Hamilton Streets.
